Watch video lessons -> Either A) Do trace overs on photographs using the techniques/theory discussed + do your own drawing by the side B) Reference photographs and relentlessly apply the techniques that is taught. Quantity > Quality
Write cleaner notes that is can be use as reference/recall notes. That way I don't have to re-watch the entire videos again. (Time waster)
The habits
Pick out a few artists whose style you really want to get closer to. And use it as a ball park goal to hit to give purpose & directions to your studies.
